that is pure and true.
Her skin is the color of snow,
smooth as muted velvet.
Her eyes are the color
of the morning sky
and the moon in October.
Her lips are cold
like the touch of winter.
My love's smile
could seduce the sun
and tempt autumn
to return to summer.
The curve of her neck
is gentle with grace.
Her shoulders are as white
as ivory or bone.
Her graceful hands
rest in musical stillness.
Thick sable coils that smell
of earth and fire
are the ink on the parchment
of my love's skin.
There is poetry
in the rise of her breasts.
With each breath
she captivates the senses.
The marble flesh
of her soft abdomen
hides her power
with feminine suppleness.
She has strong thighs,
such long legs,
down to her small lithe feet.
But it 'tis her back
that enchants me most.
The constant figura serpentinata
of my love's back
makes me weak in the knees.
To run my hands
across the silky plane
of her flawless back
is bliss.
The sinuous arch of her spine,
so sensuous and soft,
hides shadows in the river
of her snaking spine.
No words can describe
my love's beauty.
She is a masterpiece
of silk and shadows.
I fear the moment
I should touch her
lest she disappear
like a eidolon
in the mist...

I adored the comparisons you used especially in the first stanza. I sat and thought about them for a while, they struck me that powerfully.

There is a sense of strong passion and desire in this that it's completely amazing to read. Very well done and happy Valenentine's Day to you and your loved one. You must really sweep her of her feet with a piece like this. You're word choice and meanings were so vivid, I could see your love, every part as if she were right in front of me. Very nice job on this. I'm sure it will make that special someone very happy indeed.
