To Ignore
The malice,
Of those undeserving,
Of respect.
They fight those,
Who will not defend
They will ridicule,
Those who do not respond.
They, who will not change,
Without reason
To watch,
And to not act.
To Fight
Is to stand,
To defend those,
Who will not.
To speak for those,
Who stay silent.
To teach respect,
Any way they will understand.
To change the heart,
Of those who learn by adversity.
To Forgive
Is to understand.
To allow change,
Of the soul.
And of the heart
That learns.
To Forget
Is to mistake,
And believe that change lasts.

"To watch, And to not act." makes me think of a great quote (think from roosevelt). "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."
And who is "They"? -
Two thumbs up!
Waw! that was cool. I really liked it. You see... I like poems that aren't very very very long and I hate poems that are consisting of four words (they are not poems ANYMORE)!!! How can a poem be of four words... (no offense if you write this type). Anyway, This was breaf though interesting enough that kept me reading it till the end. Well done! -
Powerful write which I liked a lot
So glad you're over your block
Keep writing, this is such a 'you' poem
Glad you've got your own style
All the best
