An excuse to keep living
A reason to help the needy
An answer to every question?
Why do we waste our time
Making up unimportant excuses
Rather than making a difference?
Make tomorrow better today
We hide behind the questions
When the answer is right in front of us
What is the importance of you asking that?
Base your life on the answers, not the questions
Take just two minutes today
To reexamine your life
Have you found the reason to live?
Or are you just asking the questions....
Look at your life that you are living
I dare you...
Author notes
Written during English when I was suppose to be working on a rough draft for a paper that's due on Wednesday. Oh well, I'd much rather write poems instead of persuation papers
This poem was inspired by these three words that I wrote in my notebook a while ago: Life worth living. Thanks for reading!

Looking into anyones life, there is fact and there is fiction, all those million "What if's" The truth is there are no what if's, it's what is and isn't, This state of mind is destructive, or it's creative, As far as wisdom of the world, you can't find God in the world, or a reason for life in this world, those are the what if's, the what is, we have a purpose, a reason for life, and a God who opens that reason. You did an awesome job on this piece Tim.

That's a great question on a poem!

Wow this is really good. I absolutely loved it! It is so true. Why do we live life questionally? It needs to be about the answers. I agree with what like everyone wrote on here and I just hate when people copy others, so I will shut up now
I really should have read this yesturday. . . IDK why I didn't. . .
Oh, well, great job and I really will stop now!

WHoooooa.. made me think... again.. ugh it hu
OOO Timothy, very well written, made me stop, reread, and consider. It's a given, we all make excuses, and even when we don't know we are doing it, we always make them, instead of just letting the truth and all of that out. Its amazing isn't it? I can't really say anything though, I do the same thing. Well anyways, this was awesome, I like your poems like this (well I like all your poems), make me really consider and wonder what you are saying. It's awesome Tim. It flowed nicely, didn't require huge words to get the point across, etc. etc. blah blah blah, this was excellent.
*God Bless*

Refreshing to find a poet who writes looking outwards at the world rather than just looking inwards to the self.
Excellent poem.

wow, this is one of my favorite works on allpoetry.... it really makes me think. But what are answers but questions? i really must ask that. How can we find the answers if we care none about the questions? this is a very good work. I love the flow of it and it makes me think, really, and while i am poet, i know how much it means to me when a commenter person tells me that a work made then think. isnt that the real point of writing anyway? um, i like the whole bolded and italisized text at the end. it really makes your point come alive. it makes the whole purpose of your writing this seem more important, and i know that if i was dared to do something, i owuld be more likely to do it than if i was just asked to...... overall this is one of my favorite pieces on this whole website. please keep up the good work, i enjoy reading things like this......
