If you only knew...

If you only knew,
how fast my heart beats,
when I see you.
If you only knew,
how I cry myself to sleep at night,
thinking about what we had.
If you only knew,
how much you hurt me,
and how I'm scared,
to get close to someone else.
If you only knew,
how much I really do love you,
and that I could NEVER,
feel this way about someone else.
If you only knew,
that I lose myself,
everytime I see you.
If you only knew,
how I'm writing this poem,
thinking that it might bring you back.
