eyes bleary
so weary
fried brain


 

two words
per line
are all 
that I 
muster today


 

addicted to
conscious life
stay awake
no sleep
a haze
reduced to
writing these
silly clichés


 

frustrating
this staying awake
causes errors
can’t stop
and fix
on a schedule
with the end
can't over-stay
my welcome!


no time for sleep
things begin
to look orange
