I could stare at your picture for hours
But I know it won't change the facts
I think about you everyday
Even though, I know I really shouldn't
Did you think I didn't care?
Because you KNOW I did
Did you think I would leave you?
That thought never crossed my mind
Not even once
I wanted to spend my life with you
I wanted to be one with you
But I understand now
It was too much to ask
To ask you
If I was allowed to love you

    "to be allowed to love you" You mean you have to ask permission? Thats odd. Sounds so sad sounds as though all your attention was getting cold shouldered... Sadness in such beautiful poetry. You make me feel bipolar to be sad because of the story or to be in awe because of the beauty that is your poetry...

    wow, this piece was very well written, it's sad though, I'm sorry that this person hurt you, but people sometimes dont realize what they do to others... it's so destructive, this thing we call love, but you'll find someone, i promise, who will make it last forever, wiht no pain or agony on your part... someone worthy of your tears, who wontever make you give them to his cause.

    All to often the love that we give without limit is snuffed by bigotry and indifference. Some are not worthy of receiving the love that flows from a poets heart... some are but fools floating alongside we the few and sincere... but we cannot let the incapacity of others to love shun us from trying once again anew. Screw the BASTARDSSSSSSSSS!!!! ... Yeah, hehehehehe.

    I love this poem, and it really touched me!! I hope he is not still in your life because you deserve someone who will let love them and also love you back!! It is direct and got to the point, and it is the raw truth that everyone can relate to.

    GAH !!!!!!!! *clings to her bear and blankie and sniffles* oh sweetie, this is soooooooooooooo sad... heartwrenching... i seem to like that word when i read poem but its so true *pouts* ! well, clearly my dear, this boy wasnt worth it, but i can promise you that at some point you will find someone that is worth it, someone that wont break your heart and who will love YOU way more than you even love HIM! *hands you her bear* hes the bear Tim gave me, hes a special bear... whenever you feel lonely, hug him *nods* but sweetie, really, hes not worth the pain... anyone thats stupid enough to hurt you isnt worth it, not at all! however, this poem my dear, is beautifully sad... youve captured the emotion so well and put it into words flawlessly! you made me feel how you feel, and that takes pure talent, a talent that you apparently have... gorgeous my dear, much like yourself !!!
