Six feet under

I see him laying there,
I've never seen him so pale,
Tears slid down my face,
as i bent to kiss him,
my tears fell onto his face,
his skin so very cold,
his once warm hands had gone stiff,
my heart burst from pain,
I wanted to scream,
Instead i turned away,
Then i began to wonder,
What happened to him?
Why did it have to be him?
Could i have helped him?
There's so many questions,
there are no answers,
they are all buried,
buried deep in the ground,
to faraway to find,
i wonder if I'll ever be the same,
but, it don't know now,
with grandpa six feet under,
will i ever find him?
