How do I know it's not just a big act?
With all the love I feel for you now
I'd hate for you to make my heart crack
Into millions of pieces
That's I've tried to glue back together before
My face always lightens up
When it's you I see on the other side of that door
I just can't live without you.....
Lord knows this this is the truth
I miss you already
I'm fighting back tears
Because all of the fears
Are coming back to me
So I just sit here silently
Hoping
Wishing
Praying
You won't leave me

i used to feel like this about my husband, in some not-so-distant-past. i liked the whole poem, but somehow those two lines and the two after that somehow struck me; probably cause i can relate. and the wording are nice, no attempt at being fancy, very plain and simple and honest. -
