Of thee I sing all day all night
Songs of love songs ot sheer delight
Songs of the happiness you bring
All day all night of thee I sing
You are my sun you are my moon
My song of love a gorgeous tune
Forevermore my only one
You are my moon you are my sun
Of thee I sing my perfect mate
My shining star you're surely great
Making my being sway and swing
My perfect mate of thee I sing.

I don't know the original to be honest but it is a very sweet poem, no doubt.
The rhyming and flow is nice.
Nice job and good luck! -
...apologies for the late judging...exam time has consumed me...
...overall this definetely covers the musical's overall feel...the balanced three stanzas, the context based around the love song which this is wrote...and the rhyming scheme of AABB is definetely is well used to show a parallel to the musical...
...very well done and good luck in the contest...

...I need your help...your poem looks very good but I've searched the internet left and right and I can not find this song...if you could push this useless blob in the right direction it would be dearly appreciated...

I'd like to start by saying that before now, I'd never heard of this musical.
The poem is very well structured and crafted. However, where's the feeling? It's very cut and dry, and I can't see any of YOU in the poem. It's good as a poem, structurally, but I don't feel any sort of emotion for it. There's no passion. Write with your heart more than your mind.
Thanks for entering!
