Author notes
This is one of the first groups of haiku I ever wrote. I am conscious now of how many rules of the form I broke whilst writing them. Originally they were in a Z-shape across the page, to emphasise that they could be taken in any order. Any of them may be taken as an individual haiku, rather than part of a small, themed collection.
