Dear Daddy
My baby is now an angel
as you already know
I know you came to meet her
when to heaven she had to go
Please take care of her daddy
and hold her everyday
Tell her how much I miss her
since she went away
Thank you so much daddy
for keeping her in your care
and watching her up in heaven
until I can get there
Author notes
I miss you both so much

Oh, my dear, this is so terribly sad. I'm sorry you lost your little one. It is such a very difficult time when one loses a loved one, but it's much more difficult to lose a child. You have my sympathy and my prayers. This is a beautiful poem for the two of the. Hugs, Patricia

Very beautiful poem Sue. Very wonderful loving tribute to your dad and to Nickki. I'm sure they are together now enjoying the life after. They will welcome you warmly when you are called to meet them. Friendship and warmest wishes. Sorry been out of touch lately

Dear Suzanna,This is the first time I had to stop reading until I composed myself.
You know lovey, loosing a child is the most agonizing thing that could happen to anyone, and I am so sorry that it happened to you, but believe me sweetie God needed another angel and you will see your baby again.
Keep this adorable poem next to your heart.
God Bless You

this just made me cry!!!! i understand the grief when you lose one you love so very much. foirtunately, both of my parents are alive. so are my children but i have lost one who meant the entire world to me so i can say that i have complete empathy for you. how one is to deal with the passing of a child is not something i ever care to learn. well-written. i am so sorry for the pain that led to you being able to write this though. viyanna r langager -

Hello Dear
I know you don't know me but I am a friend Of Danny's and I kind of follow your work through him. I knew about your daughter but not the circumstances until I came back to the wenches and then saw it there.
Being a mother myself, I can't imagine how you deal with this because as morbid as it sounds, I think and worry about it everyday. I don't know if I could get through it but you have shown yourself to be very strong throughout this and I admire you for that.
This is such a beautiful, heart touching poem. It's wonderful (sounds bad I know) to know that you have a personal angel there for her. I know you miss them both as I lost both of my parents in 1989 just 11 weeks apart. All we can do is remember them for who they are/were and keep loving them and look forward to when we can be reunited with them again sometime in the future.
My thoughts are with you Dear. Best of Luck in the contest. Be Well and Be Blessed

I know how much your father meant to you and most certainly, Nicole. I know that he is with her. This is a beautiful dedication to both of their memories. You will be re-united with both of them...I'm sure of that.
We all love you and wish you well in this time of pain and sorrow.

This is so beautiful, I know that Nicole is being looked after by your dad. He will take care of her till you can join them. Sorry I have not been on much, know that you are in my heart and thoughts.Take comfort that you now have 2 guardian angles.
Your friend Kathy -
I have to agree with what the others have said - just so sweet and full of love and emotion. It is comforting to think of other family members being there to watch loved ones as they get to heaven and we on earth can turn loose of them and trust them to the other's care. Good job, Suzanne.

This poem is so sweet, it brought tears to my eyes. I am so sorry for your loss. Keep in your heart the fact that she and your daddy are in a better place and no longer have pain or hurting and they have each other so they are never alone. I could feel your longing and pain and love in this poem. Excellent write. Take care and God bless, ~Angel~
