Here’s wishing everyone of you
A very happy 2006 Valentine’s day.
Precious to me are all of you here
Please believe me when I say I care;
Years of friendship’s that I will cherish.
Valentine’s is a special day for lover’s
And friends to show how much they care,
Lift up your heart and spread the love, let
Everyone feel the joy that radiates from you,
Now is the time to tell the ones you love
That they are the most important people
In the world that matters to you, now I’ve
Never received a valentine gift from Bob
Even though I know that he loves me.
That is not as important as showing me that
Our love has stood the test of time for 44 years.
Marriages have their ups and downs I agree
You have to work at it, life’s never easy.
Flowers, chocolates, candies are given or
Received, if you’re lucky that is; woe is me
I would love to receive a Valentine’s card
Even though I said it’s not important earlier
Now I want one! or I’ll sit down and cry!
Drop my bottom lip and pout ‘til I get one
Sing a song if I have to, nah, I can’t sing.
Oh boy, that did me good to let off some steam
Never mind, I’ll be back to normal when it’s over.
Anyway, I hope all of you have a wonderful day
Plenty of flowers and gifts, but most of all, Love.

This is fun to read, a nice acrostic with feelings that we all have. The gifts don't mean as much as the love we know we have, but they are really nice anyway.

What a fun way to say Happy Valentine's Day, Joan
