You were invaded in anonymity;
little Trojan horses crawling like toes
made you cough up cloth red as a sestet sun.
This is wondrous to simple folks.
They called it God’s Plague, snapped
apart the solution a virus brings.
Why do you denote my boots, sir?
They are worn by Death, a coloring
book of indiscriminately cooked nooks.
Your private life is divulged in
your dying days. I marvel at
the Scythe’s sure-fire killing ways.

I see I commented on this once before.
I also see I mentioned it was a Plath emulation. I'd say the first and last stanzas are the best; they open and close the piece nicely and work well. A nice piece all in all.
Thanks for your entry,

Hmmm, it seems you are correct. I'd forgotten you'd already commented on it.

Thank you.

a wonderful Plath emulation.

Oh yeah; I hadn't realized I used it twice. I shall examine my choices and make a proper substitution...or something. Yeah.
Thanks for the comment and applause; free points never hurt.

Plath would be proud of this...it had her voice and her movements, and yes, even a bit of her soul. The only marr that I will mention is the fact that I think using the word 'dying' twice is a bit of a hiccup to the smoothness of this piece...but other than that, this is quite excellent and a beautiful example of a great poet. -
Good
Strange, but good
But what is the main point?
