Nightmares crawl
With long fingernails
Out the portal of dreams
Into the world of life
A scarred, illformed face
With beaming red eyes
Is followed by a
Rabid horde of ravenous rats
Solemnly performing
Their dreadful tasks
Of tattering your dreams
Until taint is all that remains
