One day of Love,
One day of adoration,
One day of romance,
It must be Valentines again.
Today's the day,
a day like no other.
We know we are loved,
if only for the moment.
Those who are single,
Its a day, of sadness.
The one day we feel,
So low, and so lonely.
Those of us who are coupled,
Long for the gift,
A gift like not other.
Will it be better than last year.
Roses, and chocolate,
Or diamonds....
What will it be
Dinner for two.
Champagne, and moon light.
So many things it could be.
Oh maybe a poem,
One he wrote just for me.
Valentines day it's a day like no other.
Its either the happiest day,
Or the saddest day of the year....
He loves me...
He loves me not...

This is a lovely poem.....and I did enjoy it very much....you might want to turn it into an acrostic poem....for this contest...I think it can be done....

Very well done! The thoughts and emotions are sooo true! This will be my first valentine's day without my ex and though it's good that we are apart because of all I went through with him, I know that it will also be hard. You did a great job on this!
