My chest tightens,
I thought you loved me,
But I was wrong, those words
I love you, you throw around,
everyother girl in this country.
Has probably heard you declare your love to them.
But what about me,
even though I'm taken at the moment.
I thought you cared and that gave me comfort
when I thought to run the knife right through,
but you did it for me, and I bleed.
One the inside,everythings hollow.
You can't find me,
I hide all alone,
In my mind, laughing at all the careless losers.
In my mind, I cry lonely tears of denial.
You just keep running me through,
every moment of this hour.
I hold my tears back, because
I thought you cared.

i think this is a generally good poem, but just general. first thing, i dont get where the title comes from, to me, nothing in this poem indicates rape, it hints at sex, with the 'i thought he loved me' part, but alot of men just use women who consented to have sex. and some of the words i think couldve had a thesaurus moment on them. they are used many times in most poems, and it doesnt give this poem uniqueness, which is something htat is really important in writing period. the story i must say is a little cliche, and i think in some words you actually try to hide that, and its not really working. but like i said, this is just my opinion, and generally this was ok. good luck next time!
