I am no one
and I am everyone
I'm not old or weak
my smiles are said to light up a room
I am completely carefree
i wish to stay like this forever
be careful what you wish for
The endless beat of time marches on
changing new to old
modern to antique
but not me
I have watched my friends go on
living long
and marching on
then when their time was done
they went on
peaceful
in need of rest
you know youth is wasted on the young
Empires have fallen
and people come and gone
but here i am
my line less face
watching it all
What I would give to grow old and die
to go to that haven
but it is, and will never be mine
and so I shall stay
for all time
