I walk in to a room
The room is dark
There is no moon
I see a spark
Something Bright
It is a light
I am no longer sad
No longer mad
I feel him here
I am no longer in fear
I start to cry
I let him die
I open my eyes
It was all lies
I'm in my room
There is a moon
There is a light
It is so bright
This is the light of love.

this poem's crazy feelin'. like the women driven mad in desperation that can't tell if she's awake or dreaming, with him or someone else, what's real and what's phantasy. or just straight-up lame.
either way, this poem isn;t bad, a little imagination and creative expansion could go a long way though.

A sad and moving poem. But in war there is always sadness. Your poem brings that to light so vividly. Thanks for entering my contest I will be judging it today. The soldiers appreciated everything we send to them and they love hearing from home. Thanks again for your entry. Melody
