No One Hears My Screams

I beg for a panacea to this pain
trapped where I don't belong
A desperate cry for help
but no one hears my screams
In a world of addiction
My mind frantically races
but I can no longer understand my thoughts
A way out is all I ask
This pain is too much to bear alone
but friends are long gone
While I dangle from the edge
Where does it stop
When is too late, or is it already
A desperate cry for help
but no one hears my screams
The rock breaks and I fall
into a chasm with no bottom
Deep into the darkness and solitude
I notice my fault all too late
But it's no use now
for I am gone to a place
where no one hears my screams

    Ah, this is a feeling I think all can relate to. This poem was also written with so much power, and beauty of art as well. You have portrayed emotions extremely well. I love the title and everything behind this poem. Excellently done job!

    WOW I think everybody in their life has felt that way one time or another I know I have, anyway great poem, it has a nice dark element to it and I love it.
