Elder Epic: The calling

1:
Sing to me oh graceful muse
Through me tell the story of
the life and the love of one woman
a woman whom helped many people
a woman named Lillian DiFusco

2:
Sing in me, Muse, and through me tell the story
of that woman skilled in the ways of life
The nurse, who worked for the community,
The mother of ten children
and may you help to show the world of her

3:
Calliope, muse of poetry, come to me
through me tell the story of a heroine
Not just heroine but one that lives among us
A nurse, a mother, a wife, and a wanderer
help me to tell of Lillian DiFusco

Author notes

okay, for school I'm writing an epic poem, and I can't decide which of these to use as the opening passage.

    "Not just heroine"
    should be:
    "Not just any heroine."
