My Photographs

As I go through my Photographs
My photographs of life
I see all the times I've had
Both the good, and also the bad...

I stare into the pictures
Into memories of old
Seeing good times
As well as the bad...

I notice my father
And me next to him
Smiling and joking
As hold my prize catch...

My mom features on few
But I know she's there
She usually made them possible
By doing the camera work...

My sister shares in a lot
But obviously not all
This because
She's so much younger than me...

My grandpa sits there
Relaxing
With his head in his hand
As he still does today...

I sit and sort
The photographs...the memories
Of old and young
Trying to fit all in place

While trying to make sense of all
I realized
That sense is not what I need
But my real need is peace...

there's really nothing more with value than peace and love, and it help if you have a portable peace centuary that goes everyhwhere with you, even in the middle of a turmoil you are peaceful because your peace garden is with you...

i really loved reading the poem, it is short and to the point no hidden codes to cipher out, while the last line just sums everything up...cool

    love Sweetful

Wow! This is just so wow! I fell in love with this poem by the end. The ending just ties up all the loose ends. You can feel sorrow and pain behind this. But, you can also feel the happy times you shared. This is a fantastic write!
