Ruffles the Baby Raccoon

Ruffles the baby Raccoon
Sat alone one afternoon
Under the pine tree
Where he could be free
Ruffles the baby Raccoon

Ruffles the baby Raccoon
Was chasing a yellow balloon
It was floating too high
And he couldn’t fly
Ruffles the baby Raccoon

Ruffles the baby Raccoon
Wanted to visit the moon
So in a rocket he flew
That was painted bright blue
Ruffles the baby Raccoon

Ruffles the baby Raccoon
Listened to a lullaby tune
And he began to dream
Of raspberry ice cream
Ruffles the baby Raccoon

Author notes

I apoligise if this sounds more silly than cute but I thought I'd try something new, and I wanted to enter again.
By the time I'm finished you'll have more poems by me than anyone else. Anyway hope you like it, and more importantly I hope baby boy likes it.

it was like a sweet nursery rhyme but im not sure if you needed to end every stanza with that line except the last one, that was a good ending. It was enjoyable and really playful. Nice story told very cutesy, good poem.

This was silly in a good way. It had a whimisical feel so necessary for a baby's poem. I also liked the style choice you made here.
