My AP Daughter is a Princess.

I have a Princess from a land, faraway over the sea,
She is elegant and appealing, as only a Princess can be.
Mysterious brown eyes shine, like pools dark and deep,
Are the last things that I see, when  I lay down to sleep.
Her  endearing  face is framed, by soft black shiny hair,
The vision she gives, makes people pause, even stare.
Her smile is  like sunbeams, with neat pearly white teeth,
And garments concealing a slim body, there underneath.
She is graceful and happy with strict God loving ways,
And I'll  treasure our Friendship, for the rest of my days.

Shahrzad acts as royalty should. She is a kind princess-like person with a beautiful soul and personality. You used imagery in this piece and honored your AP daughter with such words that any daughter would cherish from her father. I think that Shahrzad enjoyed reading this piece, and that it was a wonderful surprise for her. You have done a great job with this unforced rhyming scheme. May your works continue to flourish and may the best be with you!

Hi, Bazza! You're right, Shahrzad is truely a princess, atleast in her soul, as she has an almost royal way of charming people with her wonderful person! Your poem is great, and I love the rhymes, and the picture you paint with your wonderful words! I applaud you, Bazza! Jim

Well as it was a surprise for you and I did not know if it was OK to show your full face so I drew the veil and removed the glasses. That's all. I have replaced it with your original photo. Sorry it upset you.
