I have no boyfriend!
Never did in fact..
what guy in his right mind would want to be with me?
Looks like I'll be the old single lady
with a dozen cats because
I can find no other comfort...
no visitors nor any sign of male presence..
I'm alone and glad of it too...
society won't know who I am nor should they...
it'll be as if I never exsisted...
no guy would ever dare be near me
nor would they acknowledge me...
for I simply didn't fit their needs or wants...
I never did...
they always say there's always
one person out there for everyone,
but alas there's none for me...
tears will flow from my eyes as they are now
as I think about the times when I thought
I actually had found somebody who cared,
but it turns out there was no affection
nor actual feelings coming from the other side...
I would remember how I would envy those
who knew nothing about relationships
and shared their affection without paranoia or any care...
but I knew, I knew what could
happen as it has so many times...
so I created my own defense against a heart break...
and it's come to this...
I will remain alone...
it's the only way...
I can't bear to see the face of pain anymore...
My heart's been shattered...
there's nothing left to give
but a broken smile and a simple goodbye
