Valentines
There comes a time,
only once a year.
For someone to make,
one thing very clear.
The fact that you love
someone very much,
and on this day
their heart you will touch.
The day only comes
around once a year,
and on this day
you'll be full of cheer.
A day set aside
for this one reason.
It comes near spring
the most lovely season.
Valentine's Day
was made for lovers.
A time to show
that you care for others.
So go out
onto the street
and smile at everyone
that you might meet.
By encouraging people
to be more outgoing,
you'll be improving the world
without really knowing.
Yes, how wonderful
the world would be,
If on Valentine's Day
happiness is all we can see!
Happy Valentine's Day

Aw! I like this poem. Even though I know I'll be alone in on the street since the shop will not be opened because the owner told all his workers to send the day with the one they love. Anyway, great write dad!
