Author notes

I have adopted two 16 week old kittens. They were going to be "put to sleep" when they were only 8 weeks old. I didn't realize how hard it would be to get them to adjust to domesticated life. But each day we are making a bit more progress.

    Excellent

Bless you, Joanne, for taking in God's little creatures. Just keep saying to them, "Let all creatures that have breath, praise the Lord. Little ones, you have breath; so, be still and praise the Lord." You know, I did this with my ferrets concerning the Sabbath. They have been obeying the Sabbath ever since that day.

This is such a wonderful haiku, my precious friend, and surely one that should take the gold!

Lots of love and hugs, B♥n

This is a very beautiful and caring Haiku/Senryu... and to know you did a good deed with those kittens which it is more valuable that words can say. Thank you for sharing your work with me in the contest and for the wonderful gift of your pen. Blessed be, Nena
