Division

Hell to that Arab crossing the street
Repentance for the people;racists claim
-Dad, you spit at that Jew's feet
and yelled curses when you don't know his name!

Here we come to a world bisected
where blacks are considered danger
where ruthless presidents are elected
and girls will run off with strangers.

I saw Moroccans beat up a boy naive
and then suddenly every Moroccan is despised
this isn't their country, they could leave
But our own people are becoming criminalized.

What do we gain from this down-fall?
We're all foreigners, though we share the same sun
sure, you can hate him but not them all!
you don't have to pin your revenge on everyone!

What is the reason to distrust a black?
what is the point of the things we say?
before you die, you must get him back
this savage hate people portray.

Is there a difference between you and me?
look in the mirror, we are the same
It's only a craving anger you see
"Your race hurt me, so you get the blame!"

We cannot have this grudge in our hearts
we're all humans, born that way
help me break these divisions apart
so that this world will be different today.

guys, think about this poem b4 u back fire sumone!!!
im sure many ppl will never get enough of stabbing me after this, but i jus want u ppl to know..what are u turning yourselves into? we are all the same humans. there are times when we all cry, are hurt, are happy, are discouraged!why do we have to mark anyone with hate cuz we got a bad foot with their cousin!?!

    Mussle toff said the business man to the morrocan piece of cake, the cake replied there's plenty to go around.
    They all shared there plesentries, curious about the reliability of words, they could see quite clearly though by the body language that what was happening was something more than just solidarity or true love, mor like an association, sharing of faith and never reminding about the order in wich the cake was shared just that it's ingredients were great logical and lasted longer than a week.
    The business continued.... as does the poetry, well done poisonpen

    Racism is evil, illogical and wrong. It's evil because it can kill- people kill because someone doesn't look like/sound like how they want to or come from another country. It's illogical because there is 1 race. The human race. And if you hate someone for being human then either you're not or you hate yourself It's wrong for both of these reasons.
    Great poem Should 'spit' be 'spat'? I liked your sibilance here Good rhyme Keep writing, this was a very powerful and well addressed issue. Great natural imagery

    Rascism is such a tragedy - I am saddened, disgusted, and in total disbelief that in this day and age with the history we are all aware of - clearly this has shown that rascism consists of only EVIL. To still have those who inflict acts of cruelty and judgment on another human being because of difference in cultural beliefs, of colour of skin or even difference of opinions must surely come from the breeding of evil genetics, or purely complete lack of intelligence.
