Midst our darkest moments,
There will always be a light.
One that will guide us to bliss,
Aid us, Help us, Know us.
To turn our backs on happiness,
To turn our backs on friendship,
A sin incomprehensible.
It is easier to let oneself go,
But more valuable to hold on.
In our worst hours,
A hand will reach for us.
From a Beloved one,
Help us grow, encourage us.
Pushing away the joy,
Pushing away the memories,
A torture unconceivable.
It is easier to let oneself go,
But more valuable to hold on.

Great!
This is a breath of fresh air as most of the poems submitted recently are quite gloomy and sad.. Well written!
