Love through a Milk Straw

As spiteful words are callous and as heartless monarchs fall,
If love were shown in malice: you're the loveliest of all.

Author notes

I thought of it while sipping milk at lumch--hence the title--also, draws-up thoughts of a cheap love--milk sells for 40cents/carton and love should not be the same way...

Its a couplet--I originally had a long poem of 36 lines, but this pretty much says what I want it to say. A tip: When I'm grumpy, LEAVE ME ALONE, DAMMIT!

cool, I'm glad it got the point across--the long version was weak and repetative--I like shortening my work to the smallest it could be--I could even have done without the first line here, but I fear that that would be overdoing it, lol!

see ya, Katie! It was good hearing from a friend, finally!

I like it. Especially the moral. I also enjoyed it because you didt say too much in trying to get the message through like i am now
