Mystic Enchantress (Rhyming Acrostic)

MYSTIC ENCHANTRESS

Mere words can not describe feelings
You play a harp on our heartstrings
Such beauty, elegance and grace
This Pixie's love you will embrace
It is without any refrain
Canto after canto will rain

Endearing, her works you will clutch
Nexus of life in her soft touch
Creative, her pen is golden
Heraldic, her words embolden
An angel of mercy she is
Noted for being such a wiz
Terrific is all I can say
Remember, check out her display
Emblazoned, simply understood
S he'll never be misunderstood
She's the meaning of sisterhood

Author notes

For my dear Pixie sister Elba (Mystic Enchantress)
OMG, I do have a head cold, but I didn't think it affected me so badly. I have just gone and added in two letters that I missed. My thanks to Jim (Desert Knave) for noticing I forgot my last 'S', it made me recount because I knew there was an odd amount of letters in the name when I tried to do this as a backwards acrostic. Nena dear sister, what a booboo your sister made and yet I was still given so much praise. I hope you enjoy the corrected version of this.

Skieomally, Thank you very much for the applause and your words that are so humbling. Elba (Mystic Enchantress) is such a wonderful person and a fantastic writer. The ink which flows from her pen is golden. Studying to be a doctor, she is an angel of mercy. All the praise I bestowed on her was deserved and more. Thank you again. Love and blessings for you, today and always. Joyce

I think if I were to get such high praise and care shown to me that was put into this poem, I would be one lucky girl.

Jim, Thank you for the lovely comment and such an astute observation. You helped me to realize I also missed the N in her last name. I knew it was an odd amount of letters from having started out trying to make it a backwards acrostic.
When I went back to edit I never removed my previous lines and somehow I forgot to put in the two letters. You are a blessing for helping me to correct my blunder. Love and blessings for you my friend, today and always.

Nena, I felt so terrible when I read Jim's (Desert Knave) comment. Then I counted again and saw only 16 letters so I knew something else was missing. Thank you so much for your love and understanding. No more applause is necessary, your words are all I need. Lots of love for you sis and you are my blessing. Joyce

A beautiful dedication and a wonderful use of the acrostic poetry form. I do have to ask... is there a hidden message I am missing that is the reason for no line for the final "S" ? ~Jim

Aunt Sonja, I want to thank you for the applause and the beautiful words that you just wrote for me. My sister inspired those words through her Pixie love and light. Also, through the beauty of the works she shares with all of us in here.
I did feel that last line summed it up and it fit the rhyme perfectly. Love and blessings for you my dear aunt, today and always. Joyce

Few nice words and lovely verses could open the heaven's door, but you have done something so nice for your friend, as you said in your last line:
    ~
    She's the meaning of sisterhood
    ~
Thank you for this acrostic beauty.

    Humbled by your words!!!!!

Nena, I did try to do a backwards acrostic which was even harder considering the letters in your pseudo, as I got near the end I forgot that I hadn't counted the number of letters.
It was an odd number and wouldn't work. Thus I went back and created the rhyming form which I do tend to like the best so far of all the acrostics I've tried. I guess we both are honored as you are such a dear sister and as for the words I leave behind on your works, that is the inspiration you leave in me. You're very welcome and thank you for yours as well. Also, don't ever let your golden pen run dry. I would be devastated. Love and Light will shine in your heart always and forever. Your sister, Joyce

    I am Honored!!

My dear sister Joyce... your words brought tears to my eyes as I was reading your work. This is truly an honor for me. You are a great writer and many other things I was not able to say on my Acrostic to you as I ran out of letters... but you are one amazing Pixie. Someone I could always count on when the mood is just down and someone I can share my happiness with. Ever since I started writting under this pseudo, you have been reading my poems and always leaving the most amazing and encouraging words. You have a great heart and I am proud to be and be considered by you like a sister and a friend... it is a priviledge to be in your family. Thank you for honoring me today with this beautiful acrostic... for sharing your great talent with me and for the wonderful GIFT of your ever loving pen. Love and Light always and forever, Your Sister, Nena... Blessed be!

grannyeri, Thank you so much for your wonderful words. I know I have done quite a few acrostics. They were the first form to really jump out at me until I discovered the kyrielle. I want to get more of those done too, they are always filled with beauty. Love and blessings for you my friend, today and always.
