- Nameless -

artwork.fixato.co.uk/Nameless2.png
In every name
I see your face
always staying the same
which even time
and wodka/lime
shall never erase.

Right from the start
inside every single song
I heard your voice sing
but now, the notes are wrong
and all it does is sting..
deep in my silent heart.

Through a tempest of Hope,
believing that for once in time
I could stand up and cope..
while I would rise and climb
but time's a curse
and fate is worse
slamming the door
written on it once more
    a Name...

    thanks for the comments
The image is my own work as well ^_^
I was in the train and saw some stationname on the board that reminded me of someone. Then the words: "In every name I see a name" popped into my head and I thought of a way to combine 'name' with the image of a face and ended up with this

this is wonderful! Absolutely great flow!!! I love the art that goes with it too... did you make that or is it something that you found that inspired you? Either way great poem, and thanks so much for sharing this with us!

I think the image is interesting, I can clearly see the word in the face. I noticed that every paragraph has a different pattern of rhyme, is that on purpose? I also noticed that quite a lot of your poems are written on journeys. Is is something in travelling that gives you inspiration?
