Crisp and chilled in winter sublime,
Meandering through twists in time.
Rushing along warmed by sun beams,
singing a song early thaw cool and clean.
Nature awakens from a long languid sleep,
slow icy waters rush in promise to keep.
Spring awakens crystal drips from the branch,
rush to join a river in a hurried nature dance.
Crocus fledgling sprouts through a thick soft bed,
rotted leaf of last summer's demise nourished and fed.
Strings of dried vines play violins lilting cords sweet,
breezes are warming in early thaws symphony treat.
I bundled cozy warm join in the waltz celebration,
can't await the blossoms of spring's communal delegation.
