My Angel

Since our birth,
I wonder if it was our fate.
Our fate to meet and finally date
And you would be my piece of Heaven on Earth,
My ANGEL…

I once heard an angel cry:
“Why is it that I cannot fly?”
I looked at her and replied:
“You have to believe you can inside!”

I once heard an angel cry:
“I will love you until I die!”
I wondered what I had done to deserve this
Angel of my dreams granting me eternal bliss.

I once heard an angel say:
“I want to be the one to brighten your day!”
I thought: But you already are my light.
Whose day wouldn’t you make more bright?

An angel once asked me in fear:
“Will I always be able to hold you near?”
I replied: “It sometimes seems we are far apart,
But you will always be held deep in my heart.”

An angel once told me this:
“I can’t wait for that next kiss!”
My heart jumped at that wonderful word,
I felt like I was floating, flying like a bird.

Fate since our birth
Has brought me YOU,
My piece of Heaven on Earth.
