Snow Toad Marmalade

Missing image

I drip a drop of muse juice
upon her lips and they explode
her smile returns my loving gaze
now I'm longing for her toads.

     (singing...)
     'Ooooo those toads
     warts and all...
     tantalizing toads
     I hear them call!'

She says I must go hunting
deep into her woods
to catch her elusive snow toads
and then I’ll have her goods...

I trekked across her marshes
swam head first in her ponds
got stuck in her many thistles
got bitten by her tree frogs...

but I didn’t find her snow toads
I was despondent, yes, I know...
now my leaves were strewn all about
and they needed a good blow.

Out she brought her blower
revved it up, I felt its power
and what do you think shot out of it
at one hundred miles per hour?

(Yes, The elusive snow toads!)

I guess we can end this here
as you can see the smiles on our faces
for the goodies in our marmalade bowls
have all vanished without any telling traces!

In collaboration with SwtAsWine

snow toads. Yummy!

of course I am fond of those little warty critters...I have kissed quite a few and now am married to one (who very seldom now reverts to those amphibian antics) and when he does I just sit him on his time out lilypad and then he comes to his senses...after all, I am a Princess
Once upon a time in a land far away (a four hour flight on the Concorde)...lived a Royal couple and their beautiful but rebellious daughter Reenie. One foggy early morning...while walking the grounds of the Estate........croak, croak, came a voice from the pond........etc , etc

Well, GypsiHeart928, after the marshes have dried up and there is no more marmalade to be made, then there are three paths to choose from- one or the other may leave, or they may both journey together under the last sunset of the frozen beyond...

    Good colaboration on this one.

Imaginative and very funny, but what happens when those marshes have dried up and there is no longer any marmalade to be made.

    Angst, tension, marmalade!

Okay, how could anyone NOT click this title? Its just wrong on so many levels... I love it! Such angst, such sexual tension, such marmalade!?!?! Only a collaboration between two bent minds could compress this much humor into a single page, I desperately hope to find more like this.
Thanks for a case of giggling fits,
    Slyder

Oh my gosh, I am so glad I clicked on this! I needed some humor this morning! This was way different than traditional humor, if someone were to skim through it I doubt they'd realize the jest within the whole peice. Wonderful work and an excellent collaboration! Bravo!!

You are so silly. I have very little to say here for fear of how it will come out sounding. You two have created a very humorous piece. Thanks for the giggles and the images.
