Dear Lord please hear what I say
for I am so poor and needy too
preserve my soul for I am holy
save me Lord for I trust in you.
Be merciful dear Lord every day
my heart cries out to feel anew
rejoice my soul for me my Lord
my soul I lift completely to you.
You are always ready to forgive
with so much mercy you show me
please listen to my prayer Lord
listen to my pleas mercifully.
You answer in times of trouble
I look to You, the one I adore,
there is no other God like you
no other words compare to yours,
Lord you are great so teach me
let my heart fear your name too
I will always praise thee Lord
and I will forever glorify you
You delivered me from my hell
the proud rose up against me
violent men seek my very soul
show your grace, and have mercy.
Save the son of thine handmaid
give me strength, give me mercy
let those who hate me be ashamed
see your good that comforts me.

Cry out to me My Lord
here me this very hour
It is in you alone I trust
help me to feel your power
Give me sweet rest Lord
show your mercy to me
Give me strength today
help me rejoice happily
For you are always near
your presence I always feel
Keep me safe in your arms
for your Spirit, is so real
Evil men may rise against me
but you will never forsake me
So help me to be bold each day
this I ask Lord, as a humble plea
Sandy, thank you so much for everything. Even though we don't get the chance to talk all that much, you still cherrish every moment we do have to talk. You always send me emails and messages and comments on my poem. You may never know, but they really do mean a lot to me. Just seeing how much love you pour out into me, I love you as a son loves his mother. I thank you for being so true and real. I thank you for never giving up. I do hope that we can talk some this week. I will be going back out again real soon. So I will email you when I get out to sea. Well, you did a fabulous and a very amazing job on this poem!! Keep on writing for Jesus, for it always brings a smile to His face!!
