Miss Spider

You say that you love me, and maybe you do
But you love her, and her, and that other one too
You lie to us all, saying we each are "The One"
Did you think I'd just take it? Am I really that dumb?
Your duplicity now binds you, you can't move, scream or fly
Without getting tangled in your big web of lies
You're a dumb little fly in this sticky big mess
And I am a spider, no more and no less
I look at you hungry, ready to feast
And I will not feel bad for you, no not in the least
You got yourself here by your own deciet
Your cries make no sound, your maker you'll meet
You'll flutter and flail all to no use
You'll pay for the sadness, hurt and abuse
I'm anxious to start,  my meal that's at hand
You say "But, I'm sorry" and say all that you can
To get out of this scene but for you its too late
This is your punishment this is your fate
You tell me you lied to them all but me
You dont want them, never did, just listen please
Give you a chance, a chance to explain
It's not what it looks like, they're all just insane
You told them the things they wanted to hear
I meet your eyes and you know its me you now fear
Not fear of just dying thats so easy to do
But for me to be gone when it's over and be through
You see the deep sadness filling my eyes
The way to mortally wound you is to say goodbye
So I turn and I leave, you stuck in your trap
No hope of my return, i will not come back
Your solace and happiness will not come from me
Maybe some of those girls can untangle you free.
