fabricland conversation II

no more semi-empty parkinglots
with you and me
no more dancing in
empty gravel pits
(you with your new girlfriend + drinking)
[me with my readings + friends]
we don't discuss anything:
except maybe our
hypothetical tim horton's "date"
and i realize that i haven't found myself.

no more tangled sheets
and tangled feet on random tuesday nights
at least not our tangled feet
are you happy because of this
distance between our teeth?
no desire to bite upon arrival?

oh this version is more sad. or perhaps, not so sad, but seems to paint the personality of a sad person, who does not know where their identity is from? i speak more of the "you" in the piece than the "i" in the piece. you know...
