When I pray to God I ask him for,
one minute back in time.
To place me in my mothers arms,
one more cuddle just one last time.
One minute may not seem that long to you,
but it would mean the world to me.
To feel safe wrapped up in her arms,
but I know this never could be.
Please never take your mother for granted,
Love and cherish her with all of your heart.
Because one day you will pray for that minute
and count every second that your apart.
Author notes
I pray for many.

Exquisite words. Beautiful.
This piece's Beautiful plain-spoken simplicity cut right to my heart. . .I almost cried when I read this. I don't feel much by way of. . .That sort of thing. . .I am not an emotional person, at least not where it shows. . .Thank You. That means a lot to me, being able to actually feel something. Thank You from the bottom of my heart. Beautiful and touching piece.
