I could see the flowers smiling
when I told you of my love
I could hear the gentle coo-ing
Of that watching morning dove
Sunlight bouncing all around
reflecting the drops of dew
As a tear drop started falling
from my eyes so filled with you
The moment truly captured
in my soul and in my heart
That Love we shared together
right from the very start
I often see that moment
from which our "Heaven" grew
When I saw those flowers smiling
When I said that "I Love You"

You have painted some beautiful nature imagery in this piece. I loved the line about flowers smiling...it is just so very romantic! Thankyou so much for sharing this in our contest.

LOVE IT! Wahoo! Short and sweet - to the point. I only would take "that" out of the last line. It flowed so gently and the title drew me in. I could picture you telling her you love her in a garden... So sweet and romantic... (swooning..)
Thank you for entering. -
