In the End

confusion drowns me
i choke on this despair
i reached for your hand
but i couldn't find you there

i felt a coldness to your voice
there was brutality in your touch
i felt disappointed and played
of the ones that i thought i loved

i breath in my own fear
it consumes my only sanity
i was pushed aside by all
for their own holy vanity

a disappointing weakness
that i thought had deceased
the silence breaks my heart
as you're succumbed to scream at me

i feel that history had repeated
my soul can take no more
when i fall into your arms at the end of the day
i know what i am falling for.

How moving and sad. The feeling of being let down and disappointed comes across so strongly in your words, this poem actually made me feel the anguish of your character. Well done.
