bureaucrat

The wisdom of a lemming
and the courage of a poltroon,
ambiguity and political-correctness
are the watchwords of the trade.
practicing selective silence on real issues
while ranting ad nauseam about tripe,
the bureaucrat exercises the power
of popular incompetence

Kudos for managing such a succinct and accurate socio-political commentary without overt ideological bias.

You've also presented the negative associations of all three words perfectly, without sounding awkward or verbose.
This is one of the best examples of that in the entries I received. Bravo!

Yeh, thanks, tell the truth as it realy is!

Oh thank you. A breath of fresh air about something that's grown oh so stale yet so permeating our society today.

Did you file form 12.yda/6.7 to pick up the pen to start writing this?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to requisition the removal of this poem as we have had a complaint from a lemming about the racial slur you have made on his kind.

"Guards! Bring me the forms I need to have him taken away" (Futurama quote )

Loved this though. You say so much in so little, which I guess is a bit ironic, no?

    Nice one!

    This should be a project...

Too short. There so much more that a burocrat represents...

I'd have posted this piece with the same text repeated three times. Know what I'm getting at...?
