A rose bush will die
And the leaves will fall away
The petals will dry up
In the same way,

If they aren't rewarded

Ugh, the cover and back cover to my poetry notebook is falling apart! agh! Maybe I'll just get a new one 
Anyways... really short, but ya. I was ranting this morning to myself about my mom and I was thinking of writing a ranting poem. But then I was like: How could I make this metaphorical? So I thought of this.... Ya, I seem to do everything for my mom... get perfect grades, attend church, have friends, practice the piano, read my Bible, and yet nothing I do seems to please her... sighs So ya, hopefully you guys liked this poem

Hey great poem, this is so true. If you are always "harping" on your kids they will turn away from you. But, hey I'm not in a talking mood....so.....I'll stop ranting!lol!

Ya, I should have probably given up a long time ago, but whatever... lol Guess some part of me will always want to live up to my mother's expectations. Not sure where the good in this is but glad yo ucould see it... ya, found the picture on google images Anyways, thanks for your comment!

I think every mom wants that and the fact that you try so hard to live up to it is impressive; most people give up after age 14. I like how you turned everything into something that came out good; not to mention you had an awesome picture of a rose!!! You did an awesome job keep it up!! God Bless
