Reflection Woman

Reflection woman, who is she?

Like a mirror on the wall,

Looking out on all...

Is she you or is she me ?

 Secrets hidden deep inside,

where heartbreak and sorrow abide...

She sees deep within our souls,

She is the only one who knows...

Where to look and how to find,

all of them, the mirrors of our mind!

Hallways, doors and hiding places,

children with hands over their faces!

 Reflection Woman, when you look,

into the mirror that is me...

 what do you see?

 A reflection of you

 or one of me?

Getting to accept and like the other face is the secret. The face we see reflected there and the face we put on for the world to hide what we feel inside.
Even if I have misunderstood at least it made me think and I find that a good thing. Very well written my friend, you dig deep into the heart or mind of the reader.

      Your Comments,,

You are correct in your interpretation of the poem..when we look at other people, we see things in them that reflect back to us..and the mask we wear to hide behind. Good Job

Thank you for your well wishes! I was totally surprised, with so many talented and accomplished poets and poetesses in here, I was sure it would not place at all. I was pleased just to get a little help with the basics! Blessings!

When you reach that point of being able to see both sides of yourself, that is when we can began to move on in our lives. Because, not only do we see what others see but we also see what we are in Spirit. Blessings dear one

I think this is very interesting. I like the question you pose. I believe that maybe I see both, you and me
