I see love in the perfect face.
My son's face.

To the pure of heart (and eyes) all is pure. It takes perfection to see perfection. Just as a knife cannot cut itself, a sick mind cannot heal itself, and a warrior cannot defeat oneself without also winning...irony would have it that the shortest poems are the longest and are unaware of their shortness. Hence...that's why others are here. Hugging oneself is missing something essential. LOL! and so the metaphors live on, but a picture is forever.
    Peace Through Love,

    Timothy Cameron

Isn't it funny sometimes when the shortest amount of words say so much? What a lovely thought!

I think all our kids have perfect faces, and even if they're not, we love them anyways. Liked this short version.

Rather than poetry, this sounds like one of those things you say or write and people quote for a long time. This is so very simple and doesn't really seem to hold poetic value. You love your son and, as experience shows most of us, love makes the perfect face and the perfect person. After all, what is poetry, if it isn't included in that feeling of satisfaction you have when you can write such thing? What feeling can be better than that of those who will pass by this and relate to it, and whose days may be a little brighter thanks to reading this? I think that is poetry. It can be polished to sound way better, of course, but the feeling that you've conveyed in this needs no words, in fact. It is like poetry itself.

Wow, thats weird, for some reason, I enjoyed this very simple two lined piece, you werent trying to go overbored, you didnt described a lovers face like so many other, oh wow, I have say that this so simple, but its powerful in its own respects, wonderful job!!
