It Was Only A Kiss
I gazed into your eyes as we sat upon the edge of the water
the reflection of the blue water and the sunlight sparkled
in your eyes. We spoke of the fun times that we enjoyed
as children and began to reminisce about our past relationship.
My heart began to beat fast. I could sense a chill all around,
At last you began to caress me, Our bodies became entangled,
our chemistry became warmer. You reached out to me
and began to Kiss me.....I had waited for that
for what seemed to be an eternity, (a mere 10 minutes).
At that moment, I though of rekindling our relationship
and becoming yours once again
Suddenly, you stated to me
It Was Only A Kiss!
A Kiss That would last through all eternity
