May I wish for the light you always
brought me, to the times that we
were in love. To the time pain had no meaning
May this bring me joy when it may end
or sadness in your eyes.
You never understood why I loved
you but I have understood you.
You think the marks I make are left
for people to see.
there made to make you remember what
you did to me.
My heart cant handle being in
LOVE no more for I
don't know what it means
anymore, I would love
to love you like before
but you have made me hurt so many
times like before.
The tears that shed down your face,
when you knew that I was down,
The marks that were left for you
to see, were your reason for wanting me
I cant see what happened
between him and I but yet
it hurts knowing he is with
another girl, but soon enough
this will all end in time.
You cant hold the feeling
that you made me stick to,
the feeling that you Loved me
the feeling that made me sick.
Red ran down my arm to, let you see
that I did once love you.
The tears in my eyes as I did it
the words you said when I did it.
You work so much harder to
make me care about you
the only thing that makes
me think and care about
you is the love you brought me
the joy and happiness when
were together, the one word I
hate now ment so much to
me, as I sit and watch this blood drip,
I realize you never loved me
what a fool I was to let you back
when you cried, when you said "Sorry."
Th only way of loving is of loving
no more, may you wish me back
maybe, may I come back to you
No Way. But as I think back
at all the good times and the bad times
the things that hurt me most are the bad things
This day and time may
we be together, forever or die
not knowing what we had together
Our lives are made by books
and books of lies don't let
your self die knowing that
you loved me.
Never really got that chance
to tell someone
may this wish go out to
you and others,
May the pain stop here, with the
blood and tears that have been shed
May we help each other
in need to cover
up the lies, or maybe
just keep them here
to kill us all.
The day that someone makes you
cry a single tear, is the day
that it wont ever happen again.
don't let the shed of blood
control the out look of life itself

yes, pain is sealed with this poem
if at first you dont understand
try to re read it, with the view of a boyfriend that hurt you so much that it was better to hurt your self then to hide that pain he would put on you.

These are some of my few lines out of the poem it would have been the entire thing but, I wanted to leave a long comment about what I thought of this piece. It's beautiful, it's sad, it's deep, it's soulful, it's haunting, it's written with a true poet's heart. I loved everything about it; it made me want to cry during it and it makes you think of your first true heartbreak. This poem it's a great example of how heartbreak affects someone. Great Write and thank you for entering.

so i understand this poem perfectly and you did a wonderful job with it. its very deep and i like that.. the ending is very catchy. i like it alot. "dont let the shed of blood control the out look of life itself" marvolous! keep up the great work so that i can read more of your stuff!
