Humans, always wanting to be like another,
Or to have what another has,
Greed, created from all envy,
Envy being the sin of pain.
Envy is to want but not have,
To be but not to have been,
To stay without knowledge of your loss,
Of what you could have even if you lead your own.
Follow another's path,
All because you envy they're lifestyles,
Following famous peoples every move,
So one day you can kick them and take they're place...
Let not thy feelings of envy envelope your emotions past,
Let not what another has over you become as you wish to have,
Let not the envy for anything lead you to another's fate,
Envy not thine enemies control nor thine selves lost treasure.
Envy is to lead yourself to destruction.

ok so this is my little look on humans with envy, i wrote this as i feel to the final drop of my blood. my way of writing is very indecisive, for if you look at the poem i wrote 5 minutes before this(Humans.) then you will see how quickly my writing changes and you will realize how abnormal all my outlooks become. enjoy your reads.

Well Expressed!
A very good message lies within the lines you pen from your heart, and this is something I feel that needs to be addressed, this topic, and you do such a fine job with expressing yourself!
I appreciate you and the thoughts you jot sharing this matter, and it would be nice if we could all accept ourselves for us, and ofcourse improving on ourselves I don't see as being a bad thing, but being, and trying to be like another, well, it happens alot, and it would be nice to accept ourselves as feeling good about ourselves...
Thanks again for sharing you, and keep on penning, it's good for us poets, you know this!!!
