Baby Soft

The softest thing I've ever felt is a newborn babies skin,
Nothing soft compares to under a tiny infant's little chin.
Or the nuzzle of a sweet cheek asleep against your chest,
and soft wet kisses with wide open mouths are the best.

Nothing softer than my heart, when I hold a tiny hand,
those itty-bitty fingers hold my heart in their command.
Sweet infant's innocence softest thing I've ever known,
my hubby’s skin is second softest even though he’s grown.

What compares to feel of nude human's skin combined?
For me it's one of greatest pleasures in life I could find.
I feel protected, I feel loved like that tiny innocent child,
the human touch means so much, so soft, so sweet, so mild.

Awww, thank you so much for taking the time to read, I appreciate your time. I thought I should add one more verse, it somehow felt undone. Glad you approve, I know you read it earlier too, so thanks so much, nice to have input, and I really do appreciate it.

Such a beautiful picture to go with this sensational poem - lovely words describing something soft - a baby, a husband's skin. Husbands in love can be the softest creatures ever, their eyes just look at you and causes you to mel. Liked these verses.

Why the sarcasm? "Nice, neat, fantastic, magnificent, excellent, terrific, groovy, superb breathtaking, amazing, astonishing luminous, talented dazzling, virtuoso, inspired, skillful, gifted, exceptional, accomplished, and need I say more?"

The innocence of a new born baby and the environment it comes from makes it the softest thing to feel and touch and your poem epitomises this aptly and then me the reader can actually recollect the joy of cradling a new born baby and the happiness it gave me whence I was down..cheers Shubs

Thank you so much for your kind comments and review, I very much appreciate your time, so glad you enjoyed my write, just couldn't think of anything quite as soft as that sweet baby. Doesn't matter whether we are Grandmothers or Mom's. Nothing is softer and sweeter than a freshly bathed baby and baby powder lotion.

I love this one too. Babies have my heart. I'm not a grandmother yet but this can touch any mom's heart. Very well done.

I am a Grandmother, so we do have the same heart, I really mean it, you know how soft they are! I agree nuzzling their sweet little necks and with softer than heaven downy hair. Nothing I have ever felt was quite so soft. Thanks from one Grandmother to another!

    Inspired

You know how to touch a Grandmother's heart and your words have certainly touched mine (my favorite is nuzzling the nape of the neck, that soft downy hair and satin skin This poem creates beautiful images for me and for anyone who's ever held a sweet baby in their arms. Kudos to you girl!
