I left in the summer,
Do you remember the day?
I left through showers of rain and tears.
Going to start a new life,
Remember I was in that little blue skirt,
And I walked out of your life,
I was skipping,
Excited.
And you where excited for me.
You let me,
Set me free,
Thought you where watching me fly into the sunset.
You couldn’t take to see me leave,
So you walked away before the rain cleared up,
While tears still blurred your vision.
You never saw my wings falter,
Never saw me crash into the sea,
So far away you never even heard,
You didn’t hear me gasp your name,
As was taken under,
You made shelter on the sand,
And watched the sunsets with old friends,
And sat round the fire telling stories,
One day you’ll talk about me,
You’ll wonder,
I hope you think im happy.
At least I’ll be a memory

This is so sad but I absolutly love how you wrote this. I actually had a couple tears in my eyes at the end. Wonderful job creating visualizations and excellent poetic structure. Awsome job.
