Running

OUR BEGINNING WILL ONE DAY END
AND IN THAT END WE WILL FIND
OURSELVES IN WHAT DID NOT BEGIN
AND WHERE THERE WILL BE NO END

Running, running, running,
The PHYSICAL universe is running down.
The SPIRITUAL universe is quite stunning.
It will never be unwound.

Daisy fresh every day!
That universe hasn't shot its wad.
It goes forever, come what may.
It is part of eternal God.

The PHYSICAL universe God created
Which is now going so strong
Will be over before too long.
It will then no more be needed.

At that time the SPIRIT WORLD
That's been here all along
Will never cease to belong
To God and us when we move on.

Running, running, running,
This PHYSICAL race -
It won't last forever this way.
Jesus came here to say,
It will one day go away.

The SPIRITUAL UNIVERSE, it will stay.
It will always be right here.
For all who lived the right way,
Our wounds heal on Judgment Day.

Leaving Earth we have achieved,
And we meet the Spiritual Light.
With redemption when we believed
We enter Heaven; what a sight!

Running, running, running, - forever.
Stunning, stunning, - stunning the sight.
God is light, - Heaven bathed in Light.
Happiness now and forever!

OUR BEGINNING WILL ONE DAY END
AND IN THAT END WE WILL FIND
OURSELVES IN WHAT DID NOT BEGIN
AND WHERE THERE WILL BE NO END

Actually, when it's all over and done with, the Bible says that God creates a new heaven and a new earth. (What with the New Jerusalem and that whole shindig) So eternity will be spent in a very physical place. Revelation 21:2 talks about the New Jerusalem coming down onto the New Earth. It spends a bunch of time describing the gates of the city and all that, then verse 21:24 mentions how the nations of those who are saved will walk in it's light.

So ya, don't mean to give you a hard time, but I figure at any point where you have an occasion to learn something, why not?

this is definitely a unique write using 'shot its wad' and 'eternal God' in the same stanza feels a bit awkward but it's original.
your poem speaks the truth and using 'running' sums it up pretty well
